Thanks for the thoughtful posts. I admire your patience in answering questions from novices like me.

I do have some more questions if you don't mind. Do tech cycles usually coincide with macro economic cycles? I remember you saying that the current tech cycle started around the beginning of the decade, and that is also the last time we had a mini bear market. And the tech cycle before that started in the early eighties, when the big bull began.

Also, how important is knowing macro-economics to success in the market? I know that most people on this thread regularly mock economists, especially those in academia. I always wondered why economists weren't rich if they were so smart.

I'm not clear about what comprises "money market instruments" in the 90 part of the 90/10 portfolio.
