Dr. Z... The Rap has bled big time and is almost extinct.

So far I have been loath to part with my original (very original) stake which is circa $5 per share. Now I know some wiseacre will tell me to hang in another week or two and I can claim a loss.

I hung in far too long with the rest of it - unable to move, somehow thinking it would recover some. But, no, it never saw north of $20 again. Should have sold some last summer and should have sold lots more when the world came crashing in last Oct. 1.

I have been wondering about another tech correction in the spring, but doesn't seem to materialize. (This is to buy other than PSFT).

I guess the old saying about the higher they climb, the further they fall applies. If I held some hot shot Internet stocks right now, I would think the same thing could happen. Of course, I have just cued someone else to bleat on about how they are making a killing in Internet stocks. Well, if you have, good on you - but sell a bunch and take profits. Don't hang on until it is too late. I thought PeopleSoft still had some gas in the engine - unfortunately, someone added sand to the mixture.

If everyone doesn't mind, I really don't want to discuss it. My livelihood is dependent on their software and I find it difficult to be supportive on one hand (I like the software and the people) and think about how they could have been so wrong about things.
