I will place a market order tonight that will add Qualcomm to my portfolio tomorrow.

You will have to get in line behind me, Mike, I bought a 8.5% Portfolio position last week that I will increase to a 50% position tomorrow!

What can we say, Mike, fantastic post. As you know, I am the "Raging Bull" right now on Q. A few comments.

1: I do not see any thing on the horizon to stop Q from being the world standard. I think you are saying the same, only being more cautious about it.

2: My son-in-law. who works at Q, was here for the day. He tells me that the sell off of the infrastructure division is really a "postal" situation at the company. The people getting sold to Ericson are losing their stock options in Qualcomm, plus they all have been in competition with Ericson. It is a very ugly scene. The article posted today from the San Diego newspaper does not tell the half of it. I was involved with one of these scenes when Hunt bought Wesson in the 60's. It ain't fun. I don't believe it can queer the deal, however.

3: The thin margins are a flag. I have said on this board that the ability of the company to make the money, that its position deserves, has yet to be proven.

HOWEVER

Look at what the business should become, now that the fight is won. It is, to me, the best opportunity I will probably ever see to buy in on a Gorilla at the start.
