On a related note, there have been several positive articles about BLDP, Ballard Power Systems, which is the leader if fuel cell technology. Their annual report is interesting in that it sets corporate goals of finding major partners in the submarine, stationary power plant, auto, etc. industries. That's quite a few revenue streams!
I think that following BLDP's stock will reveal many of the problems with investing in any potential rocket propulsion company. Namely, I doubt BLDP will provide any significant return on investment until these potential revenue streams are realized. And this grim outlook for a company that is perhaps 3-5 years away from significant market penetration! It puts rocket propulsion stocks into sharp relief as risky investments.
