For the record: Late 98> MSFT sold its 3M shares in RNWK, Gates to Glaser: "Screw you." Early 99> MSFT incorporates Real Player into MSIE 5.0. Gates to Glaser: "I still hate you, but your product is good and you have 85% market share, and I need your product in mine to help me get to the next level." Looks to me like MSFT wants desperately to give Glaser the shaft, but could not do it with their new version of MSIE. So let's can the MSFT as a competitor talk for the time being, it is a little way off and the stock can rocket before MSFT can mount aeven a semi-serious challenge. There are competing technologies. It is patently obvious from the two occurrences that Glaser has Gates' number for the time being and near future. G
