LOL - I can't help you there sorry. I don't know how to program VCR's never did. Next year IS a leap year.

Functionality of VCR's regarding Y2K has never been a priority for me. Too many other more major things to be concerned about. My guess is VCR's will work. I personally wouldn't be concerned about it. It's the more complicated integrated embedded systems containing multiple chips (and interacting with software) which are more likely to cause problems.
