Hi, Steven. A couple of thoughts. Obviously, we have to keep in mind at all times that ideal situations are just that--ideal. An idyllic encounter may at the next meeting not quite work; there was perhaps a special concatenation* of moods and desires. A terrific sexual partner may not be a terrific lover, just a fabulous lay.

When we are terribly, terribly fortunate, the sexual delight is also deeply lovable and loving. Unfortunately, the person is not always free or possible for other reasons.

Finally, just to keep in mind, all of life is fluid.
