Doug,

Obviously you are in love with eBay. We've discussed this time and time again. eBay is consumer-to-consumer, BII is business-to-consumer and B2B. They are not in the same arena.

Also, I really don't think valuations really have too much to do with what the stock price is or should be. What is really important is supply and demand, and market perception. Investors are looking at BII as a deal in comparison to the other net stocks, with lesser weight on the valuations. They see a cheaper stock with a lot of potential, and lots of room for the price to increase.

The mass market is not ready to apply the same rules to Net stocks as they do to many others. I like the analogy to mining and oil & gas stocks. Perception of upside potential is what is driving the prices up.
