This argument is like saying that since you can get cable for free by building your own decoder box, the cable companies will all go bankrupt. People like AOL precisely because they DON'T have to think about all the geeky jargon you have been talking about. Most people don't want to think about choosing a computer, much less an internet provider or telecommunications provider and a software package....
