The National Post reports in its Friday edition that Winspear Resources
Ltd. said it has been served with a writ of summons and a statement of
claim issued by Aber Resources Ltd. in connection with the Camsell Lake
joint venture in Canada's Northwest Territories. Aber said it intended to
participate in the 1999 budget and exploration program for the joint
venture, but Winspear said the proceedings results from Aber's "failure to
timely elect in writing" to participate. Aber is demanding to be given
either the right to participate or for relief against forfeiture of that
right, plus damages. Winspear said it intends to vigorously defend the
action.
