I think that there is a variable here that may spur the funds to jump in earlier than the last day before inclusion. It is the imminent announcement of the NASDAQ listing. This announcement will result in significant interest in the stock, which in turn will result in a significant increase to the share price.

So, if I were a fund manager (LOLOL - what a thought!), I don't think that I would be complacent and leave it to the last day to take a position. As a result, I see solid accumulation happening throughout the next number of days leading up to the next few big announcements.
