Oh, I feel my arteries blocking just from reading this.
My sister's husband is Buddhist, to make a long story short he is a recovering alcoholic and needed something. So everyone at my sister's house is vegetarian, they call it, although I call it "no-meat-atarian" because sometimes they eat fish and shellfish. They have both lost a lot of weight and look great.
On the other hand, last night for Easter dinner we had our traditional first Barbecue of the year, steak and grilled vegetables (tomato wedges, red onion wedges [parboil first], bell pepper chunks, and portobello mushrooms). Boy, that was good. We had a nice pinot noir with it, can't remember the name but it was good. |
