edamo, Hi!!! ***************OT**************** RE: we're the same age...probably may have even known you....didn't know cappeletti...knew of him...didn't his father have a gas station on west chester pike, west of frank pica's...small, small, world... Grandmother lived at the bottom of the hill off that location...Frank Pica's...Great pizza...Wife and I went there often...Yes, his dad also hung out at the bar next door to the station...I remember the day Mrs. Cappeletti brought Joey to the first ball game in a carriage..of course this was the leukemia brother of the Cappeletti boys...Stevie Wonder put on a benefit at Bonner for him so he could help defray the bills...The scene portrayed in the movie at the NYAthletic Club presentation of the Heisman was very accurate... Went to Upper Darby....67....Wife made the mistake of saying yes our senior year...Had she gotten into another one her "normal" advanced classes...she'd never have had the misfortune to find herself in a class of fun loving idiots attempting to pass English... :o) Thirty two years later she's still caught...She was from Drexel Hill...lived behind Garretford Elementary off Garrett Road...I lived in Beverly Hills...up the hill from the trolley stop off Garrett...Oldest of three brothers...neighborhood competition was fierce...many many War babies...as you are well aware of...Kids today are amazed that I graduated with almost 800 in a class...our entire school has less than 700 in four grades...Just to go to dances all over...St. Ceril's (sp.) down by the old drive-in...Had a close friend who shot pool there...The best I ever saw in person that is..
