I pretty much just lurk and read posts here. I've held CSCO since 1996 and plan to stay long. My question is: CSCO had planned to advertise its brand to make it a well known household brand name via TV ads but we have not once seen one up here on tv in the northeast?? Sun Microsystems (another one I'm long on) has their well known ".com" ads, Intel (long here too) is well known for the "Intel Inside" ads, Lucent (long too) has their ads, Microsoft too .....where are the tv ads for Cisco????? Sun Microsystems ads have brought its brand and name to the masses via tv advertising, I think it's about time Cisco make itself a well known brand name, too, and sponsor television advertising for this great company. jmho, wogger
