"why even be here since you would know that the stock is already correctly valued" I'm not reading and contributing to this thread to base my market decisions on. I'm reading it because I enjoy it. "TA is based upon the flawed premise that stocks are fairly valued and move up and down on specific patterns." TA is based on the fact that once moving in a giving direction, stocks tend to move in that direction. Irregardless of fuundamentals, stocks will define their own support and resistance levels. Fundamentals are incroporated into the t/a because of price fluctuations. All I want to know is if a stock is in an up trend or a down trend. So that I may grab a piece of the move either way and cash in. I don't care if it's at 16 or 36, as long as I can determine its movement.
