You are right. The adds should end with slogan like "3dfx! Buy it or be killed!" or "3dfx! buy it before its too late!" or something along those lines. Today's uncharacteristic action in TDFX (up in an up day and actually outperforming the market :o) made me wonder if the adds are increasing the demand for the shares. The only thing missing is for 3dfx to claim to be the main XGML and XVML standard card to open a web store online <g>.
