I think Amazon already knows that they have problems in the near future going head to head with Barnes and Noble. I think this is their primary reason for competing head to head with Ebay on auctions. Ebay is a fairly new operation and so is Amazon, therefor enabling Amazon to have a fair share of the market. In the longterm, Amazon will eventually lose it book market share to barnes and noble. Amazon knows they will never produce any real NET earnings,competing with BKS, and I believe they proved it by their last earnings announcement! Just my thoughts! Steve
