Yes, it turns out that 157 isn't bad at all. I don't think
that the other chips are a threat at this time. Sure, some PC
manufacturers will use the other chips. That's clear. But I
don't think that Intel is in such trouble. Just consider:
Intel spends about 20 percent of its earnings on R & D. That's
a considerable amount of R & D. They are not standing still!
The idea that the others will EASILY catch Intel is one that
I just don't buy. Even with all their expertise, finacial and
materal commitment, it is possible for someone else, say a firm
like Cyrix, to develop something MUCH better. But this is
against probability.

I appreciate the bearish views on Intel. Most of the advice out
there is bullish. It's important to hear other views.
