All I can say
is that in commodities the normal cycle is from prosperity to poverty
and back.


One problem is that this cycle is anything but normal. The glut in DRAM will come not from overbuilding of fabs but from shrinking the dye. The o.18um process is about one year ahead of normal cycle. Look what is going on with INTC PIII flap, a new generation of uP with prices dropping like a rock. This cycle is every thing but normal.
