If the market is looking for the technology to be proven, then I think they will look toward two things prior to the NYC deployment. The first would be annoucements regarding the commercialization of Entrata's DSL product. The second would be who the players are that back the company in their private placement. As an example, Paul Allen has backed a competing cable based service that will be coming public in the next few weeks called High Speed Access. I can tell you the the Superwire model is highly destructive to some of the other business models and technology deployments in action today.

The real question is how far these guys get before someone has to take them out, although the bulk of the stock is owned by insiders and I don't think they would sell out at this stage. This company is dealing with patented technolgy and the Entrata product is at least a year ahead of what any other companies have come up with in the DSL space. These two things alone justify the current market cap. Okane is now trading at a mere 2 to 5 percent of it's competitors market caps, both of whom are locked into a high cost, not yet profitable business model.

I suspect that Okane is taking the gloves off in terms of marketing their service, promoting their technology and announcing the individiual partnerships, alliances and deals that make up the entire Superwire.com service. They will need the exposure to gain momentum for a private placement. We will see more in the coming weeks.
