I am curious, no need to answer if you don't want to. What arts did your father expose you to? In my experience it is usually mothers who take the time to culturally enrich the kids. I think it is wonderful that your dad did this. I know in our family I take the kids to concerts, museums, art classes, etc, sometimes dad comes along (he seems to especially enjoy the zoo) but most of the time he doesn't.
