Sarmad -- LOL -- If your kids don't have jobs. If your employer is bankrupt. If the bank where you keep your savings is bankrupt. If your government is bankrupt. If your pension system is bankrupt. And if you have been conditioned by every experience in life to keep your wallet in your pocket and to work as many hours of the day as possible. Then the last thing your are going to do is take it easy and spend your savings. In the bubble years, they were so smug -- it was really irritating Then everything just went 'poof', or should I say 'pop'. And the money was gone. Don't worry? Be happy? I don't think so -- that is the new theme song of the current record holders for phony 'bubble wealth' (said with a smile -- no bitterness). What they had after the bubble was savings. Their stock 'investments' and their real estate investments -- 'poof'. Now you want them to spend their savings? I don't think so.
