Bobby,

I do not own SSO, but Pan American Silver (T.PAA, PAASF). PAA and SSO have the same game plan: have some silver production, and buy up cheap silver properties which are not economical at current silver prices. Then wait for the (inevitable?!) rise in silver prices. Bishop called SSO and PAA "open-ended options on the silver price".
In regard to your last post: be careful about the evaluation. You cannot just multiply the number of silver ounces with the price of silver and know the value of the company. Remember, that many of these ounces can only be mined in an economical way if silver prices are substantially higher!
But there sure is a lot of leverage to the silver price. I keep PAA in my portfolio without much further thinking about it. Its time will come.

Warm regards

Frank
