Group 1 Hand wringing, humanitarian disaster-chasing, hypocrites

- hypocritical due to their selective indignation over Kosovo deportees
- cynical in making a media spectacle of the selected atrocities, knowing that the headlines will be forgotten next week
- no sense of proportion as to where the disaster-du-jour fits in the scale of world's problems eg 50 million refugees worldwide
- vain to think their knee-jerk response is the correct solution
- impatient for a fix, leaving the politicians no choice but to respond with force eg cruise missiles 'because sometimes America just cannot look away'
- never there for long term solutions. Unless Lady Di creates a photo op, the broken economy of the diaster-du-jour is forgotten, and deprecated as seeking hand-outs, 'ineffective UN aid', waste of money etc
