I am relying on you to act as Fair Witness for men's side on these matters. You may rely to excess. I have never claimed to be unbiased, or to speak for All Men. If truth be told, I have as hard a time understanding male behaviour - including my own, at times - as I do female behaviour. I suspect, although I am not sure, that the most felicitous pairing is between a woman who is adored (vain creatures that we are), and a man who adores her (the triumph!). Probably true, at least until the man figures out that his adored one has human failings, and until the woman figures out that anyone willing to give her unqualified adoration is not discerning enough to meet her standards. I suspect that the most felicitous pairing is between two people (of whatever gender, I'll be PC about it) who make each other laugh a lot. Frequent orgasms would also help. I am very likely wrong.
