Sal,

While I don't pay much attention to analysts, we're talking close to a 200% difference in valuation! These guys use some kind of yardstick for their predictions. Please don't throw everything out the window, or we'll be back to astrology to predict price movements.
BTW, I don't think you disagree about the discount price of USRX. Like you said some many times in your posts, you're just not ready to jump in yet. I don't discount your cautious attitude toward the techs, I'm just wondering what's causing the price erosion in great companies like USRX and INTEL--certainly the fundamentals haven't changed. Intel can't make enough chips to satisfy demand, and USRR, I believe, will have their hands full trying to provide X2 technology to the waiting masses. What's the real reason for the downturn? I certainly don't know. Is your short-term bearishness due mostly to instinct, or does the price movement of CSCO and others play a more important role?

PS. Re. a comment you made about MOT, I have never understood either why MOT should be trading at a higher multiple than INTC. Ask your efficient market theory prof about that! |
