This is something that has been known for some time so I don't think it would have an impact now. I think it was one of these satelites that blew up a couple months ago. Its not a competing technology (Ithink it's for paging, maybe cellular) although it will use 38 Ghz. It was for this network that Motorola had the auction for the remaining 38 GHz licenses put on hold for some reason. I remember WCII's response to this network was positive as it showed more uses for 38 GHz and meant more compitition for the licenses making their licenses more valuable. (Hah, I know where you can pick up some 38 GHz licenses for only 50› per channel pop today)
