jay, you're the victim for our lazy questions! what are the accounting rules in japan? are japanese companies allowed to put "not realized gains" of holdings into their balance sheet? in germany there is a strict rule that just allowes to show the purchasing price or a lower market price. it is not allowed to go for a higher market price. btw. does anybody have a balance sheet or an annual report of SUPER-SOFTBANK? :-) af
