SEDONA Corp. Appoints Senior Executive of Acxiom Corp. To Its Board of Directors

LIMERICK, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 6, 1999--

James T. Womble Brings Extensive Internet/Information Technology

Experience To The Company

SEDONA Corp. (NASDAQ:SDNA), formerly Scangraphics, Inc., today announced that James T. Womble, a Senior Executive and Director of Acxiom Corp. (NASDAQ:ACXM) has been appointed to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Womble fills a Board seat recently left vacant by the retirement of Andrew E. Trolio, the Company's founder.

Mr. Womble leads the Financial Services Division for Acxiom Corp. This division has locations in Conway, Little Rock, Chicago, Phoenix, Atlanta, Minneapolis, and Memphis and encompasses the financial arena nationwide, including the credit card industry, the insurance industry, and the banking industry. He has served as a member of the Acxiom Board of Directors since 1975.

Since joining Acxiom in 1974, Mr. Womble has been involved in several capacities within the organization, including functional areas in application programming design and implementation, customer service, and account relationship management.

His early involvement includes a leadership role in the list processing and database marketing systems that drive many of the processes for which Acxiom has become known. Before Acxiom changed to a divisional alignment in 1997, he lead a group of business units focused on strategic accounts and served as the company's customer satisfaction champion for several years.

In that role, he was responsible for ensuring a strategy was developed and executed to measure the satisfaction of all Acxiom customers. Customer satisfaction is one of Acxiom's three corporate goals.

Prior to joining Acxiom, Jim Womble worked for IBM as a systems engineer and marketing representative. He holds a degree in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas.

"We are extremely pleased to have Jim Womble join the SEDONA Board of Directors at this exciting time in the life of our Company," said Larry Osterwise, CEO and a Director of SEDONA. "As a recognized leader in the information services industry, his experience and knowledge will undoubtedly prove a valuable resource as we roll-out and expand our SpatialVision software product offerings and markets. We believe that Jim will prove to be a very valuable addition to Board of SEDONA as we move forward in these exciting times."

Jim Womble stated that, "I am delighted to be joining the Board of SEDONA at this turning point in the life of the Company. I feel that as a Director I can be a real contributor to the future of this fine emerging Company."
