I have a couple of IRA accounts with Vanguard. The Windsor and US Growth funds have done quite well the past several years. The annual expense fees are very low. The only time you get the nickel and dime fees are if you buy the Index or Specialized funds, where there are 1% fees for leaving thoses funds. Their overall fee/expense schedules are among the industries lowest. Mark
