Dear BV: Yes, there is merit in what you say. There is a lot of opinion out there that there will be a Y2K lockout last two qtrs of the year resulting in substantial revenue decreases for most software companies. Personally, having worked with large corporations most of my life, I doubt it as they usually have long term plans and do not allow the short term fluctuations of the economy to effect them much. I could be wrong and all could go to hell in a handbasket the rest of this year, but the fact remains at 4 1/2 or so MAPX is a good long term value. Maybe later one could get it at 3 maybe not. I personally react to what I see at the time. I am not much of a market timer. So when I think its good value, I buy. Whether it goes to 3 or not doesnt matter to me. What matters is that it returns to over 20 in a year or so and I think there is a very strong likelihood of that happening here. JDN
