John, this is the fun part about "playing" AOL.

All the TAs will be meaningless, if the credit card scandle (as you have previously posted) get full publicity. Credit card companies hate to dispute because it makes them no money while it drains their customer service staff. AOL is playing with fire by not dealing with this issue promptly and professionally. Unfortunately, they cannot afford to refund money they don't have anymore and don't have the staff to handle it professionally.

If the AGs jump back in, they are going to be much angrier this time, especially if they feel AOL broke promises such as refund and solicitation of new subscribers. I like to see Case dance around it again.

I feel sorry for the people staffing the AOL phone lines. They must be taking a lot of abuse these days and it is not even their fault. May be they should forward all the irrate calls to Case.
