Morgan, at some point, probably at a somewhat higher price than the shares have reached so far, it may be wise for investors to sell some out-of-the-money covered calls, with expiration date about three to six months in advance. This is a way of locking in profits, but it also reduces future profits if the stock performs better than expected, forcing one's own shares to be called at the striking price. Art
