Mike,

An opportunity I missed over the past two quarters has been the decline in enterprise software companies. Why have so many of these stocks crumbled prior to the hardware or chip companies; the falling cost of hardware should leverage slaes for PSFT or MANU? Is this partly the result of changes in accounting for the recognition of revenue? I remember this was an issue last year and resulted in rule changes.

I am watching my third set of ALTR/LLTC/XLNX puts slip into oblivion; my guess is that hope for application sales other than computers is fueling the bulls' hope. I'm looking at the ALTR June 45's, the LLTC August 35's and the XLNX June 35's... Appreciate your thoughts

thanks,

art
