Hello all, This was unexpected news! While I don't know much about this part of the world, a mining friend in Brazil has told me that De Beers has been very active over the past couple of years, accumulating ground, exploring, drilling and even some larger sampling. Now that SUF is involved, I'll have to find out more details. Can anyone (like Vaughn or the new gemsearcher--welcome!) comment on the geography/geology, or the JV partner Canabrava? While the dollar commitments look high, obviously SUF felt it worthwhile and accepted a long term schedule for work. I'm intrigued that the release specifically referred in detail to the alluvial operations, but will have to talk to folks to find out more. Bravo to SUF for expanding its exploration base yet again.
