I don't know the answer to your question. I don't know how it works in Canada. Although, I think a past post indicated that the index funds are not allowed to buy a stock not included in the TSE 300, but I'm not sure as to whether they must buy stocks in the TSE 300. I would make the assumption that even if they did not have to buy the stock, many fund managers would want to include this inet stock. With the returns it is making and the impending listing on the Nasdaq, a fund manager would be foolish not to take advantage of this opportunity. IMHO
