I've read all your posts on China and as usual I think you exaggerate and distort the meaning of a lot of things like the importance of 40 mil subs in a country of 1 billion people. You ignore what appears to be incontrovertible, which is that The World is moving AWAY from GSM/TDMA TOWARDS CDMA. You purport to know what's going on inside the minds of Chinese political authorities. Where do you get all this stuff? I continue to be flabbergasted by the combination of hubris and hype with which you declare in no uncertain terms GSM's total victory in China, the direction the standards fight will take, the horrible quality of QCOM's managment and products,etc..You Have been correct about Nokias stock price appreciation in the past and for this you've been lauded for some great insight, perhaps correctly perhaps not. As Mqurice aptly points out, the beauty of all this is that it's actually taking place in the real world so in the end we'll all be able to see how things turned out.I will admit that things look bleak in China for CDMAone if there is no large scale national buildout, and that the lack of such a buildout will encourage the Japanese to lean towards a more WCDMA compatible standard, and confirm your point of view. On the other hand if there is to be a national Chinese CDMAone footprint, you will proudly claim that it's irrelevant....
