Mother had sets of silver nutcrackers and picks (they looked like dentist picks with prettier handles) for her lobster parties.
That's what we used on crabs at home. My brother took them because he lives on the shore. We don't see a lot of crabs here in Big D; when Joe's Crab Shack opened down the road, I raced to it and was SO disappointed. The crabs they served we would have thrown back. Big ripoff.
Why are Md. Chesapeake crabs any different from what we get on the Va NC shore?
