Cats and dogs mate in Texas? Who'da thunk it. Cats mate with cats and dogs with dogs here in Virginia, but this is, after all, The Old Dominion. We have strict anti-sodomy laws, and at one time were famous for intolerance of mixed marriages, even refusing to recognize ones that were entered into in another state. This was finally overruled by the United States Supreme Court in the famous miscegenation case, the aptly named Loving v. Virginia, I don't remember when, but the Virginia opinion that was overruled was written by Harry Carrico, who is still Chief Justice of the Virginia Supreme Court.
