Just talked with a young exchange student studying in Moscow. He left because of the anti-western sentiment. He said they are getting together a group of ex-military "volunteers" to fight with the Yugoslavian army. What do you think will happen when they meet up with the NATO soldiers trying to clear out Kosovo so the refugees can return? Not a pretty picture especially when they remind themselves that they still have nuclear weapons.

Additionally, the Communist party is having a field day and gathering support. They have new elections in December and the west is being placed as the scape goat for all their problems. They see NATO as imperialistic expansionism - getting former eastern countries to join and then starting a war just days later. I don't think they really have the picture in Washington. This is more than "late news @11."
