No problem, Chaz. The wonderful action of aol, qcom, csco and msft has put me in a blissful mood and I feel like gushing myself <g>.

Your comment on lu is in line with my thinking. I believe they over paid dramatically when they bought asnd, which was a niche player at best. As I understand it, a lot of key asnd talent has already defected, and their addition to lu's ip engineering base was one of the key features of the acquisition. Bay/Nortel is another story. But from personal experience (I am an account exec calling on Cisco for an Asian semiconductor company), I can tell you that Nortel will have to accelerate to hyperspeed to keep up with the pace at Cisco.

In the final analysis, the sector is so hot, there will be room for many winners. I expect csco, lu, and nortel shareholders will all enjoy abnormally high returns from their investments over the next few years. imho, csco is still the best of the lot, which is why I keep it as a core holding.
