My intentions are not to move the stock price, as you seem to be implying. For me or anyone to think that I as an individual, trading in hundreds and occasionally thousands of shares, could move a stock like CPQ is inconceivable. As far as news and fundamentals, as I've said, they're already in the stock before you or I are even aware it exists - that's out of our hands, you should come to terms with that. As far as nervousness, I will freely admit that I get nervous about my investments. Comfort is a dangerous thing in many aspects of life - particularly when moneymaking or money losing decisions are at hand. I wouldn't call it extreme nervousness. Since I'm talking, I'll tell you - the hardest part (for me) about a trade is closing it out - either selling on the long side or covering on the short. For me, the hardest part is pulling the trigger. I'm a fan of "It's When you SELL that Counts" - a good read. Have you read it? If so, I'd be curious about your thoughts re: CPQ.
And one last thing - a breakout to the upside? How confidently do you expect it? And if so, care to put in print what trades you are making? If you are expecting a breakout to the upside, why aren't you buying like a madman? Margin? Calls? Just curious.
As always, I appreciate your feedback (seriously.) Baz |
