Gerald. Right. But you know the saying: Don't do as I do, do as I say. Or maybe I should say: Don't mess with our back yard.

I feel that if we are in this thing, we should maybe help but not lead. We are spreading ourselves pretty thin as far as our defenses are concerned. I hear that we are getting pretty low on missiles. It's in Europe's back yard. They should do the planning.

I heard on TV the other day that Clinton was asked, when he was still GOV., what he thought about the 91 Gulf war. I thought I heard this commentator say that Clinton mentioned that we HAD to take a side I guess, but that he would probably have taken the other side. Now somebody pl. correct me on this. I heard it in passing. Well, we are not talking about this China campaign contribution mess anymore but those refugees have become an epidemic since the bombing started. I heard that the Serb population is also fleeing Kosovo.

This bombing campaign. My wife went through it as a child in Europe and it's mostly the population that gets hurt. We think it's wonderful that gasoline, oil, electricity, roadways etc. are getting destroyed. but like I said, it's every day people who end up suffering. It's hard to say what's right in this situation, We can certainly not look at this mess and do nothing but the way it has been handled, give me a break. I think about 400,000 Serbs got thrown out of one of those Yugoslav provinces when they declared independence from Yugoslavia. Who came to the Kurds defense when they got slaughtered by the Turks?

I gave to the refugee cause. There are plenty of 800 numbers.

The market loves misery. It's down but still doing alright.

Sonny
