Paul,

What I mentioned as my fears about 3 days ago with regard to NOVL's handling of Digital-Me shows validity in that interview with Shlitz.

There's a number of different ways that we
can ''productize'' this technology, and we just
haven't determined that yet. The central thing
is that it has to be held in a directory. We'll
be talking more in the next several months to
figure out how best to bring this technology
to market. "

SEVERAL MONTHS TO FIGURE THIS OUT??? Excuse me!?!?

They have a great product but are being mired in their commitment to "FOCUS" on prime business objectives and the opportunities of Digital-Me fall outside of this Focus area.

Based on Shlitz's responses, they are not sure where to take Digital-Me. They have a technology with great promise but my bet is that the senior management at Novell don't know where to take it. I can bet that the techies at Novell who are responsible for Digital-Me know what should be done with it.

I am sorry if I am a bit negative or leary on NOVL's handling of Digital-Me, but now you see why I am a bit nervous.

NOVL - if your reading this board - GET SOME GUTS AND TAKE A CHANCE ON THIS TECHNOLOGY!! Set up a Digital-Me Service Portal and offer a service on it.
