Don: Wily Coyote has learned, the hard way, all about nasty Roadrunner's tricks. Coyote likes the looks of relative strength, etc., but is it a trap? This bushy-tailed predator has learned to keep an eye cocked above for the fast-descending missile, awaiting the resounding THUD and settling of dust cloud before probing to see if a tasty morsel lies under Roadrunner's rock. Maybe yes, maybe no! No risk, no meal! Coyote puts a tentative paw out, listens for deadly whistle of descending bomb...yes? no? Ah, but that is the very heart of the matter...the suspense. Who wins the waiting game of wits has the last laugh. RH
