Steve, <<AMD's problem is a total lack of selfcontrol. They are always walking to the edge of the cliff holding onto a single piece of hread. They refuse to learn from past mistakes in a timely fashion. One of these days that thread won't hold and that's it.>> Given AMD's limited resources -- one Fab, and the need to push both speed grades and unit volume in order to keep up with Intel, would you consider these shortcomings of AMD as listed above as "no choice, but have to" or as its corporate culture by-produced mistakes?
