Targretin and hypothyroidism? My apologies if someone has already reported this - (NEJM April 8, pp1075-79) CTCL patients treated with high-dose oral bexarotene (Targretin) developed reversible hypothyroidism, most likely, the authors concluded, because retinoid X receptor ligands suppress thyrotropin secretion.
