Presence, may I suggest you find another hobby. I was referring to the very basic of financial indicators, from which all other markets and indicators are measured. My sports reference was obviously football. . .what other sport has a line of scrimmage and a quarterback? Please DO NOT make your own trades if you don't know what the S and P, Dow Industrials and Nasdaq composites are, like you say. In fact, you should not invest at all, until you know the basics. Giving your money blindly to a mutual fund, without knowing what you are getting is silliness. There are plenty of online books on finance that you could study.
