Brett
I'm not a long term holder of this stock or of any other. I first bought CMVT in June '94 based on advice from my daughter. Since that time, I've been in and out of CMVT 31 times. I follow about 20 stocks closely and trade in 4-6 at any one time and, in those, I try to monitor each daily trade.
This stock has been a little more difficult to predict in the last 9 months or so, not so much in the height of its peaks or depth of its trough but in the breadth between. That "stablization" is due, I think, to the inclusion of the stock in an Israeli based fund. For example, the current run up is almost 4.5 months long with a flat period (vs downturn) from mid March to early May.
The past few days, which included some profit taking followed by a new high, all with, as you say, somewhat unspectacular news, indicates, I think, that there is still some more "up" trend to go. Also, if the company is true to norm, there should be another "new contract" announcement soon (I hope the timing is soon to still capitalize on its current bullish trend) about the order it should receive from Qualcomm.
If this company ever starts getting glamorous coverage, well...I hope I'm there for the ride.
