T2K, "I heard a guy on CNBC say 95% of options players lose..."
That is what a guy told me at Olde Discount Brokers in 1995 when I wanted to open an account. He said it was too risky for me (I was in school at the time) and he said I should buy the stock instead. I paid a fortune in commissions to buy ADSK and IOM stock. And they moved at a snail's pace.

In 1996, I opened an options account with Etrade. Not to brag--just trying to make a point---since then I have averaged over 100% per month trading options. I don't even hold stocks anymore. I realize this is not for everyone, and I HAVE had some losses, but the statistics of "...95% of options players lose money..." scares people away. My point is, don't let this propaganda scare you. I am picking up a new Ferrari on Saturday--thanks to AOL and CMGI options.

Good with your investing--I enjoy your posts (and Teflon's too).
